What We're Doing Now
- • Our data center runs entirely on green electricity—generated on-site by our solar PV array and stored in on-site batteries
- • Our office equipment and lighting run on green electricity generated nationally from renewable sources when our own generation doesn't cover demand
- • We keep our carbon footprint low by turning off non-critical computers out-of-hours and using energy-efficient devices wherever possible
Future Goals
- • We will supplement our office heating requirements with solar thermal panels at our offices
Socially Responsible
Local Community
Api2File has a policy of buying from and supporting local businesses. We also support local charities through our staff volunteering days and direct financial contributions.
Open Source Commitment
We support open source software. Our developers are encouraged to submit pull requests to repositories they use, so everyone benefits from the fixes they make.
