Environmentally responsible

Right now:
  • Our data-center runs entirely on green electricity (generated on-site by our solar PV array and stored in on-site batteries).
  • Our office equipment and lighting runs on green electricity (generated nationally from renewable sources - when our own generation doesn't cover this as well).
  • We keep our carbon footprint low, by turning off non-critical computers out-of-hours and using energy efficient devices where possible.
Aspirational:
  • we will supplement our office heating requirements with solar thermal panels at our offices.

Socially responsible

Api2File has a policy of buying from, and supporting, local businesses. We also support local charities through our staff volunteering days, and direct financial support.

We support Open source software. Our developers are encouraged to submit PRs to repositories they use, so everyone benefits from the fixes they make.

Our software encourages security best practices of it's users. We take the time to fully document everything about security, so Api2File clients are empowered to protect themselves and their data.
